Hyndburn Borough Council has been providing industry standard pest control services since 1974. Our expert team of trained and qualified technicians offers a prompt, discrete and effective solution to your pest problems for both domestic and commercial customers.
We can deal with many pest such as Rats, Mice Ants & Cockroaches. Offering advice, information and identification, along with a targeted pest eradication solution to your problem.

Qualifications & Training
Our friendly, skilled and experienced technicians are trained to highest nationally recognised standards of RSPH Level 2 & 3 Award in Pest Management by the Royal Society of Public Health and undertake frequent training and best practice days throughout the year to gain their continued professional development certificate.

All technicians are full members of Prompt and the roll of Prompt ensures that pest control is carried out responsibly by people who are properly trained and competent. The BASIS PROMPT Pest Controllers register is an industry initiative which provides independent proof that a pest controller has received proper training and continues to update their expertise.

Environmental Impact
Hyndburn Borough Council and its technicians feel very strongly on the impact the pest control industry can have on the environment. The Council only uses approved rodenticides and insecticides and applies methods to reduce the risk to wildlife and animals other than those targeted. We will give you free advice and information on pest prevention and proofing methods, to reduce the need for further treatment.
Hyndburn Borough Council is committed to The Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU) Under the banner “Think Wildlife” CRRU promotes best practice and responsible rodent control, thereby protecting wildlife from rodenticide exposure.
The CRRU Code promotes responsible use of rodenticides and Best Practice outlines how rodenticides are to be used to minimise exposure to wildlife.
