Accrington is gearing up for a Big Christmas Weekend with the return of the much loved Dickensian Evening Market on Saturday, along with lots of festive fun, food and drink for all the family in the town centre from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 December.
Get your skates on for ice skating on the Town Square and enjoy all the fun of the fair on Broadway too throughout the Big Christmas Weekend.
On Saturday 14 the main event starts at 4pm with attractions including free face painting and free seasonal craft workshops, a fire dancing fairy, chocolate berry ballerinas, brass band music a giant reindeer and of course the hugely popular Dickensian themed Market.
Dates and times:
Friday 13:
12 noon-8pm – Funfair on Broadway and Ice Rink outside Town Hall
Saturday 14:
10am-8pm – Funfair on Broadway and Ice Rink outside Town Hall from Christmas event including Dickensian Market on the outside Market stalls, along with festive food & drink.
4-8pm – Free crafting & face painting and a spectacular giant Reindeer puppet inside the Market Hall
Sunday 15:
10am-4pm – Funfair on Broadway and ice rink outside Town Hall.
