Armistice Day – Thursday 11 November 2021

Two minute’s silence will be observed at 11AM on the 11th Day of the 11th month of 2021, with the start and finish marked by a maroon flare. Prior to 11AM, there will be addresses and readings, these will be followed by the playing of The Last Post, before the commencement of the two minutes silence.

The Royal British Legion will then pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by The Accrington Pals. This will take place at the Monument within The Accrington Pals Memorial Garden, Church Street at 11.30AM
