The historic Stables, Motor house and Potting Shed buildings have been reimagined as Artists’ Studios. After a successful bid to National Heritage Lottery Found the original features were preserved and transformed into a shared space designed by artists for artists.
Features to look out for are the original motor pit, the above ground petrol store and the stalls for the horses. In the stalls there are original wall tiles, the ironwork separating the floor and the herringbone brick floor.
The studios are home to a range of skilled craftspeople working and selling their wares on site.
The Studios are open to the public when the gates are open and the lights are on.
Open Studios are on the first Sunday of every month.
