Memorial safety
To ensure the maximum safety of all visitors to our cemeteries, we have a five year rolling programme of works testing all our memorials to ensure they are safe and in accordance with the Code of Working Practice.
If a memorial is found to be unsafe, cemetery staff take the necessary action to ensure the memorial does not become a hazard to public safety.
