Registering for Business Rates
Please inform us if:
· You have moved into or have taken over the tenancy/lease at a commercial property
· You have purchased a commercial property
· You are the landlord of a commercial property and you have had a change of tenant
· You have sub-let a commercial property
You can do this several ways:
· You can email us – please complete a Business Rates Occupation form and email it to us at enquiries@hyndburnbc.gov.uk
· You can telephone us on 01254 388 111 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 09:30 -12:00 and Wednesday 10:00 -12:00.
· You can drop off a Business Rates Occupation form to us at our Broadway offices.
Once you have informed us about your move in or out of a commercial property, our billing team will set up or amend your account and we will send you a business rates bill. Once you have received your bill you will be able to set up a direct debit. Alternatively there are a number of ways to pay.
