Further information about recycling and waste collections in Hyndburn.

Enforcement action will be taken against residents who do not present their non recyclable waste in their grey wheeled bin. If you dump sacks in a back street, you can be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice and/or served a notice under Section 46 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, which can lead to fines of up to £1,000.

Residents or business owners who dump waste in a litter bin can also face a fine up to £1,000.
