It is an offence to put unauthorised bags out for collection. All of your non recyclable waste MUST be presented inside your grey wheeled bin.
The Council can issue residents with a fixed penalty notice for presenting unauthorised refuse bags or not taking your wheeled bin back in after collection. If you present unauthorised refuse bags, you can be fined up to £2500 on summary conviction in a court of law.
