Strategic Flood Risk Assessment Level 1 2023 This updated Level 1 SFRA has been prepared to screen and assess flood risk to potential development site allocations and to provide strategic recommendations and the evidence to inform the Sequential Test and, where necessary, the requirement for the Exception Test.
Landscape Assessment 2022 This was undertaken on behalf of the Council by Penny Bennett Landscape Architects to assess the landscape and visual impacts of sites on the edge of the urban area which the Council propose for allocation in the Local Plan.
Open space report 2022 An audit and assessment of different types of publicly accessible open space provision in the Borough. The study provides up to date evidence for the Local Plan and was undertaken by Knight Kavanagh & Page on behalf of the Council.
Habitats Survey 2019 This project was commissioned by to provide ecological data on selected sites within the Borough, in order to inform the Site Allocations that will form part of the forthcoming Local Plan for Hyndburn.
Landscape guidance for Wind Turbines up to 60m 2013 Provides guidance and advice on the landscape and visual issues associated with the smaller classes of wind turbine, including good practice guidance in relation to location, siting, layout, design and cumulative impacts
