Full Local Land Charge
The full search, also known as the standard search, is a combination of an LLC1 form and a CON29R questionnaire.
The LLC1 form is an official request sent in by your solicitor, asking the Council to carry out a search of the Local Land Charges Register. The council will search the Register and issue certificates showing any entries.
The CON29 questionnaire is in two parts: R=Required, O=Optional. An extra fee is payable for each Optional Enquiry requested.
The questions are sent to various departments of the Council and are intended to provide additional information about the property/land that is not included on the Local Land Charges Register. Much of the information given by the Council in reply to the CON29 form cannot be obtained from any other source and most of it is not available to those carrying out a personal search.
