2-Work Selected to Operate Co-Working Space Planned for Former Burtons Chambers

2-Work have been identified to operate the flexible co-working office space that will open in Burtons Chambers once renovation works are complete.

2-Work currently provide flexible, tailored workspace in locations across the north of England, including Leeds and Wakefield. They believe that whether businesses are growing startups or established enterprises, they should have the opportunity to access a working environment that encourages community and collaboration, and aim to provide a platform for businesses to thrive.

Headed up by Co-Directors Gal Leslie & Janthea Griffin, who have a combined 35 years in the industry, 2-Work brings a wealth of experience and innovative ideas, and will aim to ensure the new space successfully incorporates the needs of small businesses, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. 2-Work will also develop and launch the operational model, manage memberships, recruit the new team who will run the space, lead marketing, and develop plans to attract and retain users, members, and partners.

2-Work were selected following a procurement process led by CBRE, on behalf of Hyndburn Borough Council, who want to thank CBRE for their support, as well as the bidders – including 2-Work – who participated for their interest in Accrington.
