New job created at Hyndburn Council to support regeneration plans

Following Hyndburn Council’s successful funding bids to the UK Government Levelling Up and Shared Prosperity Funds, securing almost £26million in funding for regeneration throughout the Borough, the Council are now seeking an experienced Economic Development Manger to join their team.

This new vacancy comes as part of the efforts the mobilise the necessary team for the next stages of the Town investment Centre Plan (TCIP) and the Council’s broader economic growth agenda.

The new Economic Development Manager will help to deliver on these plans, to make sure that the projects have the maximum impact for Hyndburn as a whole.

Taking a high-level strategic, co-ordinating and delivery role in all aspects of economic development and regeneration, including employment growth, this is the ideal role for someone looking to make a real change to the Borough of Hyndburn.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior Regeneration and Housing Management Team, leading on business advise, inward investment, business engagement, and spearheading key economic development projects.
