Notice of Public Space Protection Orders December 2015
Public Notice
Notice is hereby given that on the 2nd December 2015 Hyndburn Borough Council made The Borough of Hyndburn Public Space Protection Order 2015 (PSPO) under Part 4 Chapter 2 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
The effect of the Order is to introduce a PSPO for the following:
1. Exclusion of dogs from Council owned children’s play facilities and multi-use games areas.
2. Exclusion of dogs from designated Council owned Bowling Greens.
3. Dogs to be kept on leads in the Borough’s Cemeteries.
4. Dogs to be kept on leads within Hyndburn’s main town centre areas as defined in the Borough of Hyndburn Local Plan.
Failure to comply with the PSPO could result in enforcement being made and a fine of £75 for the offence, with regards the town centre restrictions please see the below maps.
