Who does the designation affect?
From 5 March 2018 landlords operating in the designated area will be required to obtain a licence from Hyndburn Council for each property they rent out in the designation area. Below you can download a map of the designated area and a list of streets affected by the designation.
A licence will run for a maximum of five years and is non-transferable.
Please note the street list is for guidance only, the map is the definitive area covered by the designation. If clarification is required for a specific property, please contact the Private Rented Team contact details for which can be found in the further information section.
