Planting of New Trees

 

The establishment of new trees is difficult especially in the urban environment for a number of reasons including drought, vandalism and incorrect maintenance procedures. This gives all the more reason for the importance of protecting existing trees.

The council is however committed to planting new trees where this is possible.
