Phases of Work
Phase 1 comprises 103 empty properties on Booth Street, Augusta Street and Royds Street, 6 rows of terraced properties the majority of which were 
originally identified for demolition. PlaceFirst working in partnership with Twin Valley Homes (part of the Together Housing Group) came up with proposals to refurbish the properties to a high energy efficient standard for private rent. The first two properties have been completed and are now show homes for the development.
The contractor for the main works on the remaining properties has now been appointed – Greendale (part of the Southdale Construction Group).
103 empty properties will be remodelled to create 71 new homes, comprising a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed terraced homes which are scheduled for completion summer 2015.
Phase 2
Phase 2 comprises of 60 empty properties pepper-potted around the wider Woodnook area. The contractor for the refurbishment of the first 10 properties is D J Hughes Ltd. The refurbishment of the first 10 properties has now completed and they are available for rent. Work will start on the next phase of properties in late Spring / Summer 2015.
